The classic first post

Having left farcebook a few months ago I’ve been searching for a decent replacement. Could this be it? I suppose I should post a bit and invite some friends, see how it works out….

  1. It might be nice for now, but all social networks are inevitably ruined when people actually start joining them. 😀

  2. reason being lots of guys use it as a gal train to get friends so they have pretty pics to display in their friend section. they have nothing of value to share, and no intelligent posts, nothing about themselves except maybe a he man avatar of themselves. I tried useralbum for the gallery function for my artwork and it ended up like that so I quit it. opera had class, intelligence, wow blog posts and photos and art. DeviantArt I have a profile there, icu109 I haven’t posted to for couple years. Too much drama, I got too much attention, too many trying to coach me etc. Opera was perfect. We’ll see about this. My last year has been posted to http://www.pictify.com/user/icu109 and I have a YouTube channel icu109. I use G+ now for family. Trying to get organized. Cross your fingers for this endeavor. Best, kat

  3. Any forums… any social community… derives its strengths and weaknesses from the participants. Facebook is what you make of it. I have an awesome group of close friends and family on Facebook and we’re able to connect easily and stay in touch. It seems to me that right now the popular thing … the cool thing … is to rag on Facebook. Anything that is popular (i.e. Microsoft, Apple, Facebook, Twitter) becomes the new whipping boy of the day. Sorry Facebook (not farcebook) didn’t work for you but it does the job for millions of others. You will find Vivaldi no different and you undoubtedly would not have found MyOpera any different. It’s what you personally bring to the community that will ultimately define it.

  4. Within the last nearly 3 years of me having stalkbook, I’ve been defriended over pettiness and I’ve defriended because I was sick of the pettiness. I don’t have as many toxic people on my stalkbook account anymore, which is a positive. I’m hoping that Vivaldi will be a great weblog community, that will generate more traffic to my website.:)
